CHC Rookie of the Week: Maddie Cox

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) has named Maddie Cox (Bristol, R.I.) as its Rookie of the Week.

Cox recorded five points on the weekend as Salve Regina went 1-0-1 in a pair of league contests. Cox scored all three goals in the Seahawks come-from-behind tie against Becker on Friday night. The game-tying goal came with four seconds left in regulation. She also dished out two assists in Saturday's win on go-ahead and eventual game-winning scores.

The Seahawks (5-16-2; 2-11-1 CHC) host Nichols on Friday, February 21, in another CHC contest.
