Coaches pick Seahawks to finish fourth

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – Reigning Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) Champions, Endicott College were selected to repeat in the 2019-20 Preseason Coaches' Poll.

Votes were compiled based on rankings submitted by league coaches. The Gulls received five first place votes for 25 total points while second place University of New England compiled 18 total points.

Nichols College followed in third place with 15 total points while Salve Regina University and Becker College came in at fourth and fifth place respectively.

The season kicks off next weekend with all five teams in nonconference action. League play begins the following weekend with teams scheduled to play two home-and-home series against one another for 16 total league contests.

Salve Regina opens its season on Friday, November 1, with a weekend series versus William Smith, then returns home for the first CHC game of the year versus Becker on November 8 at 7 p.m.
