All-Time Series & Streaks
The Valiants own a 25-6 record in the all-time series, however the Seahawks have won four of the last five meetings and two in a row over the Valiants.

Three Stars of the Game
1 – Salve Regina senior Danielle Phalon (Stoneham, Mass.) scored the first two goals of the game and added an assist on the final goal.
2 – Salve Regina freshman Angela Augusta (Windham, N.H.) scored twice in the third period to seal the game for the Seahawks.
3 – Salve Regina junior Colleen Marcik (Madison, Conn.) made 17 saves while allowing one goal to earn her third win of the season.

Key Stat of the Game
Salve Regina outshot the Manhattanville 38-18, while holding the Valiants without double-digit shots in any period.

Turning Point
The Sehawks led 3-1 in the third period, but the Valinats were applying heavy pressure after a timeout. Kyra Herbert (Plainfield, N.H.), who had the only score of the game for the Valiants at that point, had an excellent scoring chance robbed by Marcik who had to dive back to her crease to make a stick save on an open net. The Seahawks moved the puck up the ice quickly and dumped it in. A turnover in the slot gave Angela Augusta a one-on-one with Valiants netminder Rose Picaca (Worcester, Mass.) and Augusta buried a shot to the top right corner swinging momentum, and all but sealing the game for the Seahawks.
