NEWPORT, R.I. - Seniors Amanda Cronin (Medfield, Mass.) and Courtney Moulton (Merrimack, N.H.) have been named captains of the Salve Regina University women's ice hockey team for the 2016-17 season.

NEWPORT, R.I. – Danielle Phalon (Stoneham, Mass.) of the Salve Regina University women’s ice hockey team has been named to the HERO Sports 2016 D3 women’s ice hockey All-America team.

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) announced the All-Academic team recipients in the women's division for the 2015-16 season. To be eligible for All-Academic recognition a student must carry a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA and have completed one full-year at their current institution.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University senior forward Danielle Phalon (Stoneham, Mass.) earned a selection to the 2015-16 Women's Ice Hockey All-Conference First Team in voting by the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) coaches.

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. - Leading 1-0 heading into the third the Salve Regina University women's ice hockey team found itself down 2-1 late in the period, but senior Cheyenne Boyd (Phoenix, Ariz.) scored her second goal of the game to force overtime in an eventual tie with Saint Michael's College on Senior Night at St. George's.

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. - Trailing by two goals in the third period the Salve Regina University women's ice hockey team forced overtime but eventually lost 4-3 when Alex Brolsma (Bloomington, Minn.) scored with 49 seconds left in the extra frame for Franklin Pierce University.
