PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Salve Regina University softball held leads in both games with Johnson & Wales University but the Wildcats came back in both to sweep the Seahawks, 8-2 and 9-6, during non-league action at the Scotts Miracle Gro Complex in Providence. Seahawk freshman Nikki Vanelli (Quakertown, Pa.) scored her team's first run on a wild pitch in the second inning of Game One with the Wildcats. Jaycee Garrigan (Uxbridge, Mass.), who collected two of her team's four hits in the opener, later scored on a groundout for a 2-1 lead.
