Chasse and White to lead the Seahawk men's tennis team
NEWPORT, R.I. (February 12, 2020) - First-year head men's tennis coach Adam Zaccara '95 has selected a senior and a junior to lead his squad as captains this season - Aaron White (Falmouth, Mass.) and Will Chasse (Greenville, R.I.).
"Aaron has been a dedicated Seahawk on the tennis team for four years and earned the honor of captain," says Zaccara. "He has worked his way into a top singles and doubles position, and we expect great leadership with his winning attitude."
Chasse has been selected captain by Coach Zaccara as a junior "due to his unmatched work ethic and sportsmanship. Will will lead the men's team the next two years as we re-kindle the winning tennis tradition that has been Salve Regina's trademark."
The Salve Regina University men's tennis program competes in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) and owns a league-most 15 conference crowns. Zaccara's team opens its spring schedule at Springfield College on March 26.
