DARTMOUTH, Mass. --  Five different individuals combined for wins in singles and doubles action to lead UMass Dartmouth to a 9-0 non-league college men's tennis dual-match sweep of Salve Regina Thursday afternoon on the UMD Courts.

Senior Anthony Joseph (Acushnet, Mass.), sophomores Eli Brooks (Franklin, Mass.), Tristin Viale (Westfield, Mass.) and Baylen Harper (Leicester, Mass.) joined with freshman Kyle Noseworthy (Dartmouth, Mass.) in posting straight set singles triumphs in the top five spots for the host Corsairs (5-7), who also received a straight set win at number six singles from freshman Dan Botelho (Somerset, Mass.).

Joseph and Viale teamed up for an 8-3 victory at number one doubles for UMass Dartmouth, which received an 8-2 triumph at the second doubles position from the tandem of Brooks and Harper.  Noseworthy and sophomore Sean Nutter (Mattapoisett, Mass.) accounted for the hosts' other point of the day with an 8-1 win at the number three doubles spot.

The visiting Seahawks fall to 0-9 with the setback.

UMass Dartmouth hosts Bridgewater State in a Little East Conference dual-match on Saturday afternoon at the Dartmouth Indoor Tennis Center beginning at noon, while Salve Regina entertains Curry in a Commonwealth Coast Conference dual-match on Saturday afternoon in Newport, R.I., that also begins at noon.
