SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (November 12, 2019) - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University freshman Dylan Sock (Newtown, Conn.) as its Rookie of the Week for men's soccer (November 4 - 10) during the league's tournament championship.

CCC Rookie of the Week - Sock makes it back-to-back weeks and the fifth time for a Seahawk. He played a key role as a reserve in both of the Seahawks' CCC Tournament matches. Upon stepping onto the pitch, he provided stability and great possession in the final third. In the championship match, Sock got his name on the scoresheet as he registered an assist on Salve Regina's second goal of the game that tied the score at 2-2.

Salve Regina (14-4-3, 6-0-2 CCC) won its fourth CCC Tournament title and first time as the No. 1 seed. The Seahawks will represent the conference in the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championships in a first-round match with Rowan University on Saturday (1:30 p.m.) in a regional hosted by University of Mary Washington (Fredericksburg, Va.).
