NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University sophomore Donald Igo (Needham, Mass.) as its men's soccer Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 16-22).

Offensive Player of the Week: Igo helped Salve Regina pick up two wins this week with a trio of goals. On Wednesday (Oct. 18), he scored the equalizer against Nichols in the 73' to set the stage for overtime. The Seahawks would emerge victorious after the extra period. He followed that up by scoring both goals in a 2-1 victory over Gordon. His two scores in that contest came just under two minutes apart.

Salve Regina (11-3-3, 5-2-1 CCC) enjoys a six-game win streak and nine-game unbeaten streak as it enters the final week of the regular season. The Seahawks host the Gulls of Endicott College on Tuesday (3 p.m.) at Reynolds Field.
