Summary
The Salve Regina University men's soccer team scored three goals in the first fifteen minutes of the second half to break open the game versus visiting UMass Dartmouth en route to a 4-0 victory Wednesday at Reynolds Field.

This was the 24th meeting between the two teams. The Corsairs still own a 15-6-3 record in the all-time series, however the Seahawks snap a two-game losing streak versus UMass.

1. Salve Regina junior Matthew O'Donnell (Pittsburgh, Pa.) scored back-to-back goals at 50:28 and 57:16.
2. Salve Regina junior Jordan Elster (Sutton, Mass.) scored the game's first goal at 12:01 and later handed out an assist.
3. Salve Regina senior Jared Warren (Georgetown, Mass.) scored at 59:05, the final goal of Salve Regina's 3-0 run to open the second half.

Turning Point
The Seahawks led 1-0 at half-time and dominated the first fifteen of the second half, scoring three goals in that span. First Matthew O'Donnell scored on a line shot from 18 yards away off a feed from sophomore Donald Igo (Needham, Mass.), then O'Donnell added an unassisted score when he picked off a clearance attempt by the Corsairs above the box, juggled it twice with his right foot, then booted it towards the goal, looping it over the keepers head. Jared Warren capped the scoring run by stealing the ball from a Corsairs back, and ripping a quick shot on net for a 4-0 Seahawks advantage.

"We did well today in terms of executing the things that we had talked about leading up to this match; Our third game in five days and we knew that we would be on heavy legs.
