Quote
"We did well today in terms of executing the things that we had talked about leading up to this match; Our third game in five days and we knew that we would be on heavy legs. And this was contrasted in our opponent who had not played since September 2 and was on 11-days of rest.  I thought we did well throughout the match fighting through the fatigue and executing in all areas of the field.  Several of our new players have come into the program and elevated us in more ways than just on the field.  Adding a talent and soccer IQ the likes of a Donald Igo makes everyone on the team better, and when you make Matt O'Donnell even better and surround him with technically capable and tactically aware players, it's a catalyst to a winning formula.  Then we have the likes of a Jordan Elster contributing on both ends of the field today, tracking down our opponents runs and adding a goal and an assist, including the eventual game-winner.  It's honestly a fun time to be a part of Salve Regina Men's Soccer". - head coach Craig O'Rourke II
