- Salve Regina and Endicott meet for the 17th time in Saturday's Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) quarterfinal round match-up.
- Endicott holds a 9-6-1 lead in the all-time series, dating back to the 1999 season.
- The Seahawks lost a 1-0 decision at the Gulls two weeks earlier (October 18, 2014).
- For its first conference championship in 1998, Salve Regina defeated Roger Williams, 2-1, in the title match.
- Since 1998, Salve Regina has won three Commonwealth Coast Conference championships.
- Roger Williams has captured the title six times with two three-championship streaks (1999-2001 and 2004-2006).
- This is the first meeting between the Seahawks and Gulls in the CCC postseason.
- In the 2012 championships, Salve Regina defeated Eastern Nazarene (3-0) in quarterfinal action then Gordon (2-1) in its semifinal before capturing its third championship with a title victory over Nichols (2-0). Jake Weinshank scored both goals in the championship win.
- No conference school has won more than three titles in a row.
- Roger Williams has two separate three-championship streaks and Western New England won four in five seasons with a three-title streak ranging from 2007-2009.
- Endicott is looking for its first men's soccer title.
- "This is a very interesting match-up for us. Endicott is a big, strong, and athletic team that has been playing some of their best soccer as of late. We will need to learn from the mistakes that we made during the first half of our match with them in Beverly back on October 18 and try to build on the fact that we carried the majority of possession during the second half of the match. If we play up to the form that we know we are capable of, then I think we can be very successful in this opening round match-up."
