NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University freshman Niko Szelest (Bristol, R.I.) as its Rookie of the Week.

Szelest recorded a hat trick in the Seahawks non-conference set back against Colorado College this week. He scored his three goals on five shots on-goal and also collected one ground ball.

Salve Regina (1-2) travels to face Johnson & Wales (R.I.) on Wednesday, March 20, at 4 p.m.
