SALVE REGINA VS. LASELL
- Salve Regina and Lasell have faced each other three times before with Lasell holding a 3-0 advantage in the series.
- The last time the two teams met, Lasell defeated the Seahwaks 17-13 in Boston, Mass.
- The two teams went back and fourth in the third quarter before Cam Brazill tied it at 11-11 just over two minutes into the fourth. Lasell pulled away with three unanswered goals to carry the Lasers to the win.
- Saturday marks the second-straight year the Lasers will open their season with Salve Regina.

- Senior Chad Hollenshade led the team with 45 points (31g, 14a) last year despite missing three games due to the men's ice hockey team's run in the playoffs.
- Senior Chad McKeon was third on the team in scoring with 36 points (18g, 18a). McKeon led the team with 18 assists in 2013.
- In the short season so far, freshman Nick LoCirceo leads the team with four points (1g, 3a) while McKeon leads the team with three goals.

- Salve Regina ranks sixth in the 2014 Commonwealth Coast Conference preseason poll of the head coaches.
