Zackary Moreau named USA Rugby All-Academic

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University recent graduate Zackary Moreau (Marstons Mills, Mass.) earned the title of National Collegiate Rugby Scholar just three months after he and his teammates captured the national championship in the National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) tournament in May.

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. – The Salve Regina University men’s lacrosse team was defeated by the University of New England by a final score of 9-7 during Senior Day at Gaudet Field on Saturday evening. The loss drops the Seahawks to 1-6 on the season, while the Nor’easters improve to 9-7 overall.

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. – The Salve Regina University men’s lacrosse team fell behind 6-0 in the first quarter and never recovered, dropping a 14-8 decision to Gordon College on Saturday night at Gaudet Field. The Seahawks fall to 1-4 on the season, while the Fighting Scots even their overall mark at 6-6.

BRISTOL, R.I. – The Salve Regina University men's lacrosse team fell behind early and never recovered, dropping an 18-6 decision to Roger Williams University on Wednesday during a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) game for the Quahog Cup at Bayside Field. With the win, RWU improves their record to 6-4 overall and 3-0 in CCC play. Salve Regina’s record drops to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in CCC play.
