Seahawks move up to 6th in the nation

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Salve Regina University men's ice hockey team has been ranked sixth in the nation by USCHO.com in the latest coaches' poll.

Salve Regina tied with Curry College 4-4 in the only game of the week for the Seahawks this past Saturday. The Seahawks scored with 1:01 remaining in the third period to force overtime in the eventual tie. Salve Regina remains unbeaten in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play.

The Seahawks (8-1-1, 6-0-1 CCC) will next take to the ice on Tuesday, December 10, when they play 15th ranked New England College.
