Seahawks jump up to 7th in the nation
NEWPORT, R.I. - The Salve Regina University men's ice hockey team has been ranked seventh in the nation by USCHO.com in the latest coaches' poll.
Salve Regina swept Wentworth this past weekend with a pair of 4-3 wins. Paul Boutoussov (Dana Point, Calif.) scored twice for the Seahawks on Friday in Boston, then Eric Lipa scored in overtime to give the Seahawks a 4-3 win on Saturday. Salve Regina is tied for the most wins in the nation with top ranked Norwich University.
The Seahawks (7-0-0, 6-0-0 CCC) will next take to the ice on Friday, Novmeber 29, when they play ninth ranked Oswego State at a Tanksgiving Tournament hosted by Utica College.
