CCC Player of the Week: Danny Eruzione
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University junior Danny Eruzione as its Player of the Week for men's ice hockey (November 11 - November 17).
Eruzione played a major role in the Seahawks 2-0 week over conference opponent Western New England. Salve Regina won 3-0 on Friday night (Nov. 15) and 7-0 on Saturday (Nov. 16). Eruzione contributed four points on the week, all coming in the second game. He totaled two goals to go with two assists. His first tally, which turned out to be the game-winner, was a shorthanded score. He is now tied for the conference lead in the conference with six assists this year.
"It has been exciting to see Danny develop into a more dynamic player," said head coach Zech Klann. "He has the ability to leave his fingerprint on any game he plays."
Salve Regina (5-0-0; 4-0-0 CCC) returns to action on Friday, November 22, when the team travels to face Wentworth in another CCC matchup.
