Seahawks ranked 14th in the nation

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Salve Regina University men's ice hockey team has been ranked 14th in the nation by USCHO.com in the latest coaches' poll.

Salve Regina swept Nichols College this past weekend in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action. The Seahawks first topped the Bison 3-2 on the road before returning to the Portsmouth Abbey for their first home game of the season on Saturday, and holding serve by a 4-2 final to sweep the Bison.

The Seahawks (3-0-0, 2-0-0 CCC), will next take to the ice on Friday, Novmeber 15, when they play the first of a home-and-home with Western New England on the road.
