NEWPORT, R.I. - Four Seahawks scored in double-figures as Salve Regina University men's basketball defeated Western New England University, 83-49, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Rodgers Recreation Center. The Seahawks win by their largest margin of the season.

BOSTON, Mass. – A pair of sophomore Ben Kizel (Short Hills, N.J.) free throws with 3.2 seconds remaining proved to be the difference as the Wentworth Institute of Technology men's basketball team squeaked by Salve Regina, 54-53, in Commonwealth Coast Conference action Saturday afternoon at Tansey Gymnasium.

WENHAM, Mass. - Both teams started especially slow on the offensive end as Salve held a 4-2 lead after six minutes of play. Buckets on two consecutive possessions by Bryce Boggs (Hyde Park, Mass.) and Nicholas Bates (Danvers, Mass.) increased the Seahawk lead to 8-2 as the Scots continued to struggle.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Behind a career-high scoring effort from Bryce Boggs (Hyde Park, Mass.) and a seventh-consecutive double-double for Nicholas Bates (Danvers, Mass.), Salve Regina University men's basketball defeated Endicott College, 63-62, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's basketball action at the Rodgers Recreation Center.

Lindsay (Frederick) Semas '06, Dan Royce '11, and Kristin Suslowicz '06 will join former teammates and fellow Seahawks in competition and socializing back on campus in Newport.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Western New England University guard Daniel Silva banked in a 3-pointer with time expiring in regulation to tie the score at 77-77. The Golden Bears defeated the Seahawks of Salve Regina University, 89-83, in overtime at the Alumni Healthful Living Center in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's basketball action.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Freshman Garrisson Duvivier (Brockton, Mass.) led all players with 19 points to carry Gordon College over Salve Regina University, 71-70, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's basketball action at the Rodgers Recreation Center. The Seahawks trailed by as many as 14 points in the first half, and later tied the score at 55-55 on a Nicholas Bates' (Danvers, Mass.) layup.
