23 members of the Salve Regina football team were named to the Academic All-Conference team for the Commonwealth Coast Football Conference.

 NEWPORT, R.I. - One hundred eleven student-athletes were named to the Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) Academic All-Conference Team as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon. Salve Regina University had 23 members of its football team make the squad.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Matt Messner (Midland Park, N.J.) and Joey Mauriello (Colts Neck, N.J.) have both been named the All-New England Team by the New England Football Writers (NEFW).

Home and away, on the field and in the classroom, Matt Messner has been a top performer for Salve Regina football.

NEWPORT, R.I. (November 21, 2019) - Salve Regina University junior linebacker Matt Messner (Midland Park, N.J.) has been voted to the 2019 Academic All-District® Football Team, selected by CoSIDA.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) announced the 2019 All-Conference Teams and major award winners on Tuesday (Nov. 19) morning. All eight CCC Football teams had student-athletes honored on this year's list with 62 student-athletes recognized in total. Western New England and Endicott each had 13 selections to lead the group.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University senior Mike Nestor (Danvers, Mass.) caught two touchdowns to help lead his football team to a 34-13 victory over visiting Curry College on Senior Day at Toppa Field in Commonwealth Coast Football Conference (CCFC) action.

NEWPORT, R.I. (November 2, 2019) - Salve Regina University football led 27-17 at halftime and scored 26 unanswered points in the final 30 minutes to defeat visiting University of New England, 53-17, in Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC) action at Toppa Field on Military Appreciation Day.
