Chelsea Francis begins her fourth season as head coach for the Salve Regina equestrian team in 2023-24. An equestrian trainer with extensive experience, she has been at Sandy Point Stables (Portsmouth, R.I.) for over seven years.

Francis' tasks at Sandy Point include daily management of 30 horses, from riding schedule to injury rehabilitation, arranging horse show travel and coordinating show schedule, including hotel bookings, transportation of horses and packing all essentials for all shows.

"I have passion and enthusiasm for understanding horse behavior and training horses and riders of all skill levels," says Francis. "I love being able to share my passion for horses and riding with others."
