Seahawks host and finish first in IHSA competition at Sandy Point Stables

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (March 7, 2020) - Salve Regina University equestrian riders hosted an IHSA event at Sandy Point Stables in Portsmouth and captured first overall (among 12 schools) with three individuals also earning blue ribbons - junior Kenna Rooney, sophomore Lindsay Wright, and freshman Saarah Papineau.

Kenna Rooney: Open fences/Open flat - 1st / 6th
Hannah Grey: Open flat - 3rd
Alexandria Wooters: Intermediate fences - 4th
Kayla Costa: Limit fences - NP
Lindsay Wright: Intermediate flat - 1st
Madi Guyette: Limit flat - 2nd
Steph Dooley: Novice - NP
Madi Squizzero: Novice - NP
Julie Burgjohann: Novice - 3rd
Shane Bowes: Pre Novice - 5th
Saarah Papineau: Introductory - 1st
