Ketch collects four hits; four Seahawk pitchers impede Presidents

KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Salve Regina University starting pitcher Will Ginsberg (Sharon, Mass.) went six innings and allowed just one run as the Seahawk baseball team defeated the Presidents of Washington and Jefferson College, 3-1, in RussMatt Invitational action at the Osceola County Stadium. His battery mate, Dylan Ketch (Clinton, Conn.), banged out four hits including a run-scoring triple for the game's first run.

Sophomore Colin Trahon (Raynham, Mass.) took over in the seventh and struck out two batters before giving way to senior Brett Wilkes (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) who struck out one President in an inning and a third. Sophomore Andrew Roman (Monson, Mass.) closed out the ninth inning for his second save in the last week during play in Florida.

Senior Zack Smith (New Canaan, Conn.) drove in two runs on the day. Sophomore Michael DeFusco (East Greenwich, R.I.) had three hits as the team's leadoff batter.
