MIT's men's and women's teams will be looking to claim their respective third-straight championship wins. The men's side features Patrick Haertel (So. - Cumming, Ga.) and the reigning Men's Field Athlete of the Year in Sam Engebretson (Jr. - Sioux Falls, S.D.); the women are led by Marina Miller (Jr. - Bel Air, Md.) and Alexis Boykin (Jr. - Clayton, Ohio).
Both WPI teams are placed third in last year's competition, with the men placing after Springfield and the women losing out to Coast Guard by just three points. Grace Hadley (Gr. - North Reading, Mass.) and Morgan Collins (Sr. - Hudson, Mass.) lead the women's side, while David Reynolds (Gr. - Andover, N.H.) and Ethan Anderson (Fy. - North Haven, Conn.) highlight the men's side.
Hosts Springfield finished last year as the runner-up in the men's championship and placed fourth in the women's championship. Anik Dole (Sr. - Dubai, U.A.E.) and Connor Daley (Fy. - West Springfield, Mass.) headline the men's team, while the women's team features Gwen Anderson (Sr. - Pawcatuck, Conn.) and Samantha Paul (Jr. - Albany N.Y.).
The Coast Guard women's team will be looking to outdo their second-place finish in last year's championship, led by Alaina Stonebraker (So. - Salt Lake City, Ut.) and Sadie Olson (Sr. - Elkton, Ore.). The men's side finished fifth last year and features Ian Naff (Fy. - Arlington, Va.) along with Adrian Ililau (So. - Ngermid, Palau).
Babson finished fourth in last year's men's championship and fifth in the women's championship. Reigning Men's Athlete of the Year Anthony Rodriguez (Sr. - Prairie View, Ill.) will be a name to watch on the men's side, as well as Jack Reynolds (Jr. - Fairfield, Conn.). The women's side features Angela Hagstrom (Jr. - Portsmouth, N.H.) and Madaket Stoltz (Fy. - Sommers, Conn.).
