Accomplishment you are most proud of
I think I am the most proud about being Co-Conference champions sophomore year. As an individual I think being named CCC Defensive Player of the Week that same year was a huge accomplishment for me because it was the first game as a starter in my career.
Favorite activity outside of your sport
Enjoying the great city of Newport!
Favorite experience as a Salve Regina student-athlete
Watching the last season of Game of Thrones as a team in Antone was pretty great as a singular experience. The first day off after the Non-League scrimmage during camp is up there too.
Favorite spot on campus
Since Toppa field is off campus I'd have to say the library might be the next best. Just because I know how much time I spent there trying to hold up the academics side of my college career.
Most memorable game/contest/match
Beating Endicott my sophomore year on their Senior Day. It was on their field, they held the ceremonies off until after the game thinking they were going to win a conference title. We were the underdogs and we beat them in every aspect of the game and left the stadium in shock. Best part of the game was upsetting Endicott, making it a three-way tie for the conference was just icing on the cake.
One thing most people don't know about me
I came in freshman year as a biology major and I sell furniture.
Plans after graduation
I am currently finishing my undergraduate degree in accounting and hoping to stay in Newport a little longer to get my MBA here at Salve.
Something you can't live without
Football just as a sport in general, that period from after the Super Bowl until August is always a brutal stretch of not having football to watch. In the off season I watch the random college or pro games that re-air on TV sometimes to get me through it.
The best part of being on your team is
The thing about football is that since it's such a team game, you have to really get close to everyone on a personal level and really develop a chemistry to be successful. It makes the highs that much better because it's a feeling of individual accomplishment as well as being able to celebrate those accomplishments with your brothers. It is such a big team in terms of numbers, so no matter where you are you're seeing guys you know. Going through everything you do in the length of a season, you build a trust with every guy on that roster knowing they have your back.
