Former cross country captain, Annie Mozzer '19, represented the Seahawks in conference and regional championship meets during her four years at Salve Regina. But a virtual race in April might be her most meaningful one yet.

NEWPORT, R.I. – Annie Mozzer ’19 is no stranger to important races. The former cross country captain represented the Seahawks in conference and regional championship meets during her four years at Salve Regina. But a virtual race in April might be her most meaningful one yet.

NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina University has landed 64 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2020 Fall Academic All-Conference Team, announced by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye.

Four seniors tabbed to lead Seahawk harriers

NEWPORT, R.I. (October 26, 2020) -- Seniors Katerina Bruce (Dalton, Mass.), Sydney DeCesare (Johnston, R.I.), Jillian LeBeau (Bristol, Conn.) and Francesca Moore (Old Saybrook, Conn.) have been appointed captains of Salve Regina University's women’s cross country team for the 2020-2021 season.

Seahawks choose #AllVoteNoPlay on Election Day

NEWPORT, R.I. (September 17, 2020) -- Earlier today, the NCAA enacted legislation to make Election Day free of practice and competition for Division I student-athletes. For the Seahawks as a member of NCAA Division III and the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), the decision not to play had already been made in July. Once members of the Salve Regina Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) learned of the actions at Division I to include no practice on Nov. 3, they replied, "Us, too!"
