CCC Runner of the Week: Olivia Wilson

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University senior Olivia Wilson (Bethel, Conn.) as its runner of the week for women's cross country (Sept. 25-Oct. 1).

Runner of the Week - Wilson placed first at the Tri-State Invitational with a five-kilometer time of 19:43. Her run was instrumental in helping Salve Regina win the meet. She and two of her teammates led the field for most of the race with Wilson pulling away in the final mile. It was her first individual collegiate victory.

The Seahawks return to action on Saturday, October 14, when they travel to Waterford, Conn., for the Connecticut College Invitational at Harkness State Park.
