Turning Point
A 5-0 run at the end of the first and a 6-0 run to start the second helped the Seahawks take a 1-0 lead and secure a lead in the second that they would not yield to go up 2-0 in the match. The Seahawks led the entire way in the third set and had match-point four times, but the Hawks refused to go easily. Kills from Molly Quilty (Duxbury, Mass.), Lara Lolacono (Lynbrook, N.Y.), and Katie Nugent (Lynnfield, Mass.) kept the Hawks alive and drew them within one point, 24-23. Trabilcy would end the suspense on the next point though, knocking in her 13th kill of the night to secure the first sweep for the Seahawks in program history over Roger Williams.

Quote
"This win was huge for this group. It was important that they play together and have each others backs and they bettered they ball every time it came to their vicinity on the court, never thinking you're out of a play until that ball is on the other side of the net or on the floor. It's a huge win as far as it being Roger Williams, but at the same time its important to know that that's what they're capable of. Roger Williams is a great team, but we are too, and it's important for the girls to see that for themselves. We talk about it, that we are a top three team, but now we are actually going out there and doing it. They played aggressively and were consistent tonight, with a steady mindset and mentality and that was huge for us. It's just another game, we will have another game this weekend, but next week when playoffs start, those are big games. It's one and done and that's when the big game mentality comes into play and the pressure is greater." - head coach Lauren Parsons
