LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 22, 2019) -- The Salve Regina University women's volleyball team was named by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) on Monday for the 2018-19 AVCA Team Academic Award.

Seahawks land 48 on Fall Academic All-CCC

NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina University has landed 48 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2018 Fall Academic All-Conference Team, announced by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye.

Salve Regina's season came to a close Thursday evening in a 3-0 loss to Wentworth in the CCC semifinals.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Senior right side hitter Kendall Wilcox (Pomfret, Conn.) was named Senior Scholar Athlete while Annie Donahue (Chelmsford, Mass.), Nicole Karabaich (Greenlawn, N.Y.), Erin Proctor (Canton, Mass.), and Cassidy Trabilcy (Phoeniz, Ariz.) were named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) All-Conference team for women's volleyball.

The Salve Regina University women's volleyball team swept Western New England University 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-23) in the quarterfinal round of the  Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) tournament Tuesday evening.

BIDDEFORD, Maine -- Cassidy Trabilcy, Nicole Karabaich, and Kendall Wilcox combined for 34 kills to pace Salve Regina University past the University of New England, 3-0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-20), in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's volleyball regular-season finale on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 27) at the Harold Alfond Forum.

The Salve Regina University women's volleyball team swept Roger Williams University 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-23) in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Tuesday evening.

Salve Regina honored its six seniors (Megan Parham, Erin Proctor, Sydney Puffer, Cassidy Trabilcy, Paige Tully, and Kendall Wilcox) before the game with a special pregame ceremony.

Newport, R.I. - Visiting Eastern Connecticut State University won both of its matches to sweep the competition versus hosts Salve Regina University and UMass Dartmouth in a non-league women's volleyball tri-match Saturday afternoon.

Paige Tully matched a career-high with seven kills in a 3-0 sweep of Nichols College for the Seahawks seventh straight win.

The Salve Regina University women's volleyball team defeated Curry College 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-18) in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play for their fifth straight victory.

Salve Regina earned its second CCC win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Western New England.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Worcester State University rallied from down a set to defeat Salve Regina University, 3-1 (17-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-17), in non-league women's volleyball action at the Rodgers Recreation Center on Saturday. The Lancers (9-6) win for the second straight season against the Seahawks (10-6).
