HOW THEY GOT HERE
The Seahawks won their final four CCC matches to clinch the fifth seed in the playoffs, most recently a 3-1 victory against University of New England. After dropping the opening frame the Seahawks took the next three to register a 3-1 (19-25, 25-14, 25-22, and 25-16) victory.
Meanwhile the Leopards dropped their final regular season game to Endicott College. The Gulls won the opening set only to have the Leopards tie things with a set two victory. The Gulls won 28-26 in the third then 25-19 in the fourth to claim the victory.
Despite finishing with the same record in the CCC the Leopards own the tie breaker over the Seahawks having defeated them 3-0 earlier this season on September 27 in Boston.
SERIES AND STREAKS
The Seahawks own a 12-5 advanatge in the all-time series however the Leopards won the msot recent meeing this season. The Leopards snapped what was a 12 game winning streak the Seahawks had since 2006.
