CCC Rookie of the Week: Annie Donahue

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University freshman Annie Donahue (Chelmsford, Mass.) as its Rookie of the week for women's volleyball (September 12-18).

Donahue hit at .350-clip this week as Salve Regina went 3-0. She averaged 2.25 kills/set and picked up five blocks, four of which were solo stops. The freshman offered 2.8 points/set this week.

The Seahawks have won five in a row and currently sitting at 7-3 on the season. Salve Regina travels to face Framingham St. this Tuesday before returning home on September 21 for the first CCC contest of the season against Roger Williams at 7 p.m.
