NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) recognizes Salve Regina University senior Dianna Tauro (Melrose, Mass.) as its Libero of the Week for women's volleyball.

Libero of the Week - Tauro averaged 3.91 digs and 0.64 service aces per set in a 3-0 week for the Seahawks. Tauro collected nine digs and six service aces in a 3-0 sweep of CCC rival Curry.  She followed with an impressive 21 digs in a five-set victory over in-state foe Johnson & Wales, and closed out the week with 13 digs in a sweep of Mount Holyoke.

Tauro earns the Libero honor for the second time this season (also September 22).

Salve Regina (10-7; 2-1 CCC) hosts conference foe Gordon College on Wednesday at the Rodgers Recreation Center (7 p.m.) before playing in the Clark University tournament this weekend in Worcester, Mass.
