CCC Libero of the Week: Dianna Tauro
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) recognizes Salve Regina University senior and captain Dianna Tauro (Melrose, Mass.) with its Libero of the Week award for women's volleyball.
Tauro averaged 4.71 digs per set and two double-digit kill performances in a 1-1 week for the Seahawks. Tauro collected 16 digs in a 3-1 win over Eastern Connecticut State. She then added 17 digs in a 3-0 setback to UMass-Boston.
Tauro also surpassed the 1,000 digs milestone in the third set against UMass-Boston.
"Dianna has started off to a great senior year," said head coach Lauren Parsons. "She's has been playing so well and I'm so happy for her to get her 1000th dig. She has worked so hard to reach that milestone and now she's going to keep adding to it".
