SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) recognizes Salve Regina University junior Jennifer Duggan (Merrimack, N.H.) with its Player of the Week honor for women's volleyball.

Player of the Week - Duggan helped lead the Seahawks to a 3-0 week, including a win over No. 24 Roger Williams. In a non-conference match against the Hawks, Duggan earned a double-double in the five-set victory with 17 kills and 11 digs. Earlier in the week, the junior recorded a double-double in a 3-0 conference victory over Curry with 10 kills and 11 digs, while hitting .381. The outside hitter then hit .500 in two sets against Rhode Island in a 3-0 win.

Duggan collected her third weekly honor from the conference.

The win marked only the second victory in 20 meetings for Salve Regina over Roger Williams, and the first for the Seahawks over a nationally-ranked program.

The Seahawks and Hawks battle again on Wednesday (7 p.m. in Bristol) in a conference meeting that will help determine the top seed in the upcoming tournament.
