Nor'easter postpones ECAC quarterfinals

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (CCC) Volleyball Championship quarterfinal match featuring #4 Eastern Connecticut State University at #5 Salve Regina University has been postponed due to inclement weather conditions. The game has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 8 at the Rodgers Recreation Center.

Thursday's match will mark the third meeting between the Seahawks and Warriors this season. Eastern Connecticut State won each of the previous two meetings this year, including a 3-2 victory at the Trinity Invitational and a 3-1 win at the Crabtree Invitational.

The Seahawks have already set the program record for wins in a single season, notching 17 victories while advancing to their first-ever Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship finals.

Salve Regina will be led by senior Megan Clancy (Chelmsford, Mass.) and sophomore Jennifer Duggan (Merrimack, N.H.). Clancy has already set a program record with 621 digs in a season, while Duggan has set the school's single season mark with 298 kills.
