Scots double up Seahawks in Newport

NEWPORT, R.I. (September 21, 2019) -- Gordon College swept three doubles matches before splitting six singles matches with Salve Regina University to take a 6-3 decision against the Seahawks in Newport.

Salve Regina (1-3, 1-2 CCC) picked up its three victories at Nos. 1, 3, and 5 singles, with sophomore Lauren Harvey (Edmond, Okla.), freshman Casey Farrell (Cumberland, Mass.), and junior Laura Krick (Groton, Conn.) earning the wins. Harvey outlasted senior Anne Carsey (Flagstaff, Ariz.) in three sets.
