Teal the Field - Seahawks promoting awareness to prevent sexual violence

NEWPORT, R.I. - In the United States April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). The goal of SAAM is to raise public awareness about sexual violence and to educate communities on how to prevent it.

NEWPORT, R.I. – Salve Regina University has landed 48 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) 2018 Fall Academic All-Conference Team, announced by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye.

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University women's tennis seniors Abigail Burke (Harwich, Mass.), Darcy Carlin (Brewster, N.Y.), and Anna Godshalk (Orleans, Mass.) competed in their final regular-season home fall match.

NEWPORT, R.I. - No. 4 seed Salve Regina University took a 2-1 lead after doubles play in its Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's tennis quarterfinal with visiting No. 5 Roger Williams University, but the Hawks earned wins in four of the five completed singles matches to advance to the semifinal round after a 5-3 decision.

PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Sophomores Serena Bobola (Cranston, R.I.) and Hailey Raskob (North Smithfield, R.I.) each posted a pair of victories to lead the Rhode Island College women’s tennis team to a 6-3 victory against Salve Regina at the RIC Tennis Center on Tuesday afternoon.

Bison best Seahawks to set up Saturday showdown

NEWPORT, R.I. - Nichols College women's tennis swept nine matches from Salve Regina University in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action in Newport on Thursday afternoon, a re-scheduled match from last week. The win puts the Bison (10-0, 6-0 CCC) in a showdown on Saturday for the conference regular-season crown at Endicott College with the Gulls also undefeated.

In honor of Meghan Strathman '03, the 15th annual Megs™ Doubles clinic will be held on Sunday, October 14, at the Antone Center Tennis Courts on Leroy Avenue. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m.

NEWPORT, R.I. - With its third sweep of the season and first victory at home, Salve Regina University women's tennis improves to 4-2 overall and 3-2 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play. The Seahawks won all nine matches against the visiting Leopards of Wentworth Institute of Technology on Saturday.
