CCC Offensive Player of the Week: Abby McMackin

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has selected Salve Regina University senior Abby McMackin (Walpole, Mass.) as its Offensive Player of the Week for women's soccer (Sept. 24-30).

Offensive Player of the Week - McMackin helped Salve Regina end its two-game scoreless drought in a big way on Saturday (Sept. 29). McMackin scored a hat trick in the Seahawks' 5-3 conference win over Western New England. Her three tallies a came on eight shots, seven of which were put on target. One of McMackin's goals was a converted penalty kick.

The Seahawks (4-4-0, 2-1-0 CCC) host head coach Jane Walsh's alma mater Owls of Keene State College on Thursday, October 4 (5 p.m.).
