BRISTOL, R.I. - The Roger Williams University women's soccer team rolled to a 3-0 win over Salve Regina University Tuesday afternoon in the team's Commonwealth Coast Conference regular season finale.

The Hawks used three first-half goals to grab an early lead to push past Salve.

Kasey Provost (Peabody, Mass.) began things for RWU in the 24th minute with an easy goal into a wide open net. Kylie Casey (E. Longmeadow, Mass.) brought the ball down the right side, forcing out Salve keeper Carly Pala (Milford, Conn.). Casey would send a parallel pass to Provost, who had no one in front of her to deny the goal.

Casey would convert a goal of her own in the 36th minute to bring the Hawk lead up to two. Jenna Hart (Cheshire, Conn.) got possession and was able to find Casey for a shot right over the keeper and her first collegiate goal.

Provost and Casey would connect again for the Hawks' third score of the game, though this time it would be Casey notching the score. Provost fed a pass to Casey to allow her to slot a shot into the bottom left corner of the net for her second goal of the game.

Sydney Martin (Scarborough, Maine) stopped four shots for RWU in the game, all in the second half. Pala had four stops for Salve in the loss.

Roger Williams (10-6-2, 7-0-2 CCC) is back in action tomorrow against Springfield College. Salve Regina (8-7-3, 3-4-2 CCC) will play in the CCC Quarterfinals next on Saturday.
