NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University women's soccer accepted a bid to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) 2016 Division III Women's Soccer Region 1 Championship. The Seahawks, seeded second out of four teams, played Maine Maritime Academy on Saturday, November 12 (2 p.m.) in Springfield, Mass., following the host school's game against Curry College.

NEWPORT, R.I. - The Seahawk women's soccer program had two of its seniors recognized with significant honors - Erica Manchester with the Sister Philemon Banigan Award, and Raine Oesterle with the Distinguished Senior Scholar Athlete Award.

Springfield, Mass. - The Maine Maritime women's soccer team advanced past Salve Regina in the semifinals of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Region 1 Championship Tournament on Saturday at Brock-Affleck Field.

Erica Manchester and her teammates will make the program's second postseason appearance with its ECAC bid this weekend.

BEVERLY, Mass. - The Endicott women's soccer team advanced to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) semifinals by defeating Salve Regina 3-0 on Saturday night. The Gulls scored three first half goals, two by sophomore Sharlotte Pernice (West Springfield, Mass.), to move to 13-3-2 (7-2-0 CCC) on the season.

Salve Regina University women's soccer posted its second consecutive tie in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Reynolds Field, after finishing 2-2 in 110 minutes with Western New England University. With the draw, Salve Regina maintained its slim lead over Curry for fifth place in the league standings.
