NEWPORT, R.I. - The Salve Regina University women's soccer team has been chosen to finish 10th in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) in a poll of the league's 10 coaches.

After graduating All-CCC performer Lauren Bulk and Angelina Saporito, the Seahawks return the bulk of their starters with plenty of experience. At keeper, a freshman or transfer will battle for starting duties. Francesca Galeazzi returns for her second season after leading the Seahawks with six goals in 2014.

Salve Regina opens its 2015 campaign with a non-league contest at Worcester Polytechnic Institute on Tuesday, September 1 (7 p.m.).
