NEWPORT, R.I. - Framingham State University senior women's soccer players Marisa Parent (Revere, Mass.) and Isabela DeSouza (Framingham, Mass.) both surpassed the 100 career point milestone and their scoring lifted the visiting Rams to a 4-3 victory over Salve Regina University at Reynolds Field in a non-league match on Wednesday.

Parent finished with two goals to raise her career points to 102, while the game-winning goal for DeSouza, breaking a 3-3 tie in the 88th minute, brought her career mark to 101 points.

Framingham State (7-4) got on the board first with Parent getting ahead of the Seahawk defense after a punt from her junior goalkeeper Sara Sullivan (Quincy, Mass.). Parent's shot eluded Seahawk senior goalkeeper Angelina Saporito (Bristol, Conn.) at the 7:14 mark.

Salve Regina (3-8) got even in the 34th minute when freshman Taylor Meyers (Washington, Township, N.J.) scored her third goal of the season following a nice feed from classmate Lea Adams (Sandwich, Mass.).

Parent responded three minutes later with a go-ahead goal, taking two shots on Saporito and getting her second goal of the game, 10th of the season, on the rebound putback.

Sophomore Claryssa Cunniff (Framingham, Mass.) made it a two-goal margin when she beat Saporito following a feed from classmate Angela Pallotto (Sterling, Mass.) at 42:54.

The score remained 3-1 in favor of Framingham until Seahawk senior Lauren Bulk (Portstmouth, R.I.) took a center pass from junior Ielish Barbati (Marshfield, Mass.) at the 68:40 mark. Both Seahawks had just entered the game minutes earlier for the first time.

Sophomore Ellie Dye (La Jolla, Calif.) beat Sullivan for the tying goal (3-3) at 75:32. The Seahawks had the momentum but it appeared they were headed to their fourth overtime contest in seven home matches. DeSouza finished off a pass from junior Brini Varetimos (North Attleboro, Mass.) for the game-winner at 87:03.

Salve Regina had two shots on Sullivan in the final two and a half minutes, but the junior stopped both and punted after the final save to let the clock expire.

The Seahawks return to Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action when they travel to Bristol, R.I., to face Roger Williams on Saturday. Framingham will host MCLA in MASCAC action on Saturday.
