McCullough makes all-conference
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced its all-league women's soccer team today and Salve Regina University senior forward Erin McCullough (Ludlow, Mass.) made the squad.
It marked the third consecutive season that McCullough earned votes to qualify for the all-conference team. In her sophomore season, McCullough earned an honorable mention spot as a midfielder. Last season and this season the recognition has come for her work as a forward.
McCullough tied for 16th in the league in goals (seven), sharing team-high honors with junior Lauren Bulk (Portsmouth, R.I.) in that category along with points (16). She scored four of her goals in back-to-back two-goal efforts, in a 3-2 loss at Curry on October 14 followed by another two in the team's first win of 2013, a 4-0 triumph over Wesleyan on October 18.
McCullough assisted on the first of Bulk's two goals in a 2-1 win against Johnson & Wales on September 30. Her final collegiate goal came in a 2-1 loss to Wentworth on October 30.
