NEWPORT, R.I. - University of New England women's soccer rallied from a 1-0 deficit to score three unanswered goals in a 3-1 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) victory over Salve Regina University at Reynolds Field.

Junior Lauren Bulk (Portsmouth, R.I.) scored her fifth goal of the season, second-most on the Seahawks, to give Salve Regina (2-9-1; 0-4-0 CCC) the early 1-0 lead. Senior Jacqueline McPherson (Mansfield, Mass.) was making that score stand up with four saves in the first 28 minutes, her first action since opening day.

Freshman forward Jessica Meader (Scarborough, Maine) scored her first collegiate goal at 32:12 when she drew McPherson out of the net and slipped the ball into the left corner. The Nor'easters (6-4-1; 3-0-1 CCC) kept the attack on as McPherson made three more saves before intermission.

The teams broke at the half with the score tied, 1-1.

In the second half, MacPherson stopped four more shots before junior forward Kaitlyn Hall (Dayton, Maine) scored her second goal of the season off a quick pass from classmate Margaret Palmer (Scarborough, Maine) in front of the net, nearly 25 minutes into the period.

Bulk had another shot on net at 76:54 that was denied by McPherson's counterpart, freshman Brielle Robinson (Monson, Mass.).

Four minutes later, sophomore Jackie Dickerson (Windham, N.H.) added an insurance tally for her third goal of the season, squeaking the ball past the aggressive McPherson.

MacPherson finished with 13 saves for the Seahawks while Robinson improved to 3-0 with her five-save effort.

Salve Regina has a week off before it hosts Endicott next Saturday (12 p.m.); University of New England plays next in-state at Bates College on Thursday.
