Seahawks drop season opener to Endicott

BEVERLY, Mass. - In Salve Regina University Women's Rugby season opener, the Seahawks played Endicott, who Salve beat for the CCRC championship last year.

A great game was played by all but unfortunately Salve came up one try short with the final score being 45-39. A lot of heart was seen by all players both on and off the field. Huge congratulations to the two rookies that scored, Maria Coleman '21 and Marisela Ackerman '23. Next weekend Salve will take on Johnson and Wales University away to try and secure their first win of the 2019 season.
