LAST TIME OUT FOR SALVE REGINA - WESTERN NEW ENGLAND 20, SALVE REGINA 12  - APRIL 24, 2019

  • Salve Regina struck first but the Golden Bears led 11-3 at halftime.
  • Western New England was led by junior Eileen Ruby (New Fairfield, Conn.) and senior Kristen Breen (Ellington, Conn.), who recorded a combined 16 points.
  • Salve Regina's offense was paced by sophomore Kaity Doherty (Portsmouth, R.I.) and junior Kiley Anderson (East Greenwich, R.I.), who tallied four points apiece, while freshman Nicole Smith (North Attleboro, Mass.) registered a hat trick and junior Maddie Villareal (Portsmouth, R.I.) finished with two goals and one assist.
  • The Golden Bears outshot the Seahawks 47-35, including 25-13 in the first half.

LAST TIME OUT FOR UNE -  ENDICOTT 20, UNE 7 - APRIL 24, 2019

  • Jennifer Lacroix scored five goals for the Gulls, and Meghan Dutchyshyn added four goals to the victory.
  • Keara Dwyer (4) and Molly Camelo (3) provided all the scoring for the Nor'easters.
  • Camelo tied the score 1-1 early in the first half, but Endicott scored the next eight to take a 9-1 lead with 9:53 to play in the period. Endicott was up by as many as nine until Dwyer scored twice in the closing 1:21 to cut the deficit to 11-4 at halftime.
  • UNE's final total of seven goals was the most allowed by the Gulls during the conference slate.
  • Bella Rino made nine saves for Endicott, which held a 32-19 advantage in shots. Taylor Hopkins and Maritza Narycombined for seven stops for Nor'easters.

      • This is the Seahawks only appearance in a Championship game in program history.
    • In 2003 the Seahawks made the semifinals, but were once again turned away by Gordon by a score of 15-4.
    • In 2018 the Seahawks topped Gordon 22-9 in the quarterfinals before falling to Endicott in the semis.
  • Sophomore Kaity Doherty leads the Seahawks in goals (59) and ranks second in the CCC.
    • Doherty is six points away from 100 career points.
  • Lindsey Smith leads the team in assists (26) and ranks second in the CCC.
    • Smith is the Seahawks all-time leader for career assists (74)
    • Smith became the 18th player in program history to top 100 career points this season (59g-74a-133p).
    • Smith ranks fifth in the CCC for draw controls (69)
  • Nicole Smith leads the Seahawks in draw controls (86) and ranks fourth in the CCC.
  • Maddie Villareal is second on the Seahawks for goals scored (43).
    • Villareal is three points away from becoming the second player in program history to top 200 career points.
    • She is presently second all-time in points and third all-time in goals scored in program history.
