Salve Regina scored 1:19 into the game to take the lead, eventually building a 5-0 edge before Olivia Carpenito (Wlmington, Mass.) and Morgan Pero (White River Junction, Vt.) scored for Rhode Island College to cut the deficit to three. It was the closest the Anchorwomen would get however as the Seahawks ripped off seven straight goals to close the first half and lead by double-digits at halftime. The Seahawks scored twice more to begin the second half capping a 9-0 run. Angie Leonardo (East Providence, R.I.) scored with 21:47 remaining to make it 14-3, but Salve Regina scored five more times to pull even further away.
