SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced its 2018 Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Teams and major award winners Friday morning. All nine CCC schools were represented on this year's All-Conference list. Endicott had the most selections with eight student-athletes recognized.

Roger Williams' Kaelin Hogan (Bethel, Conn.) won her second straight Offensive Player of the Year award, while her teammate Emily Stoeppel (Brookfield, Conn.) was voted the Defensive Player of the Year. Hogan is the first repeat Offensive Player of the Year since Ashley Hansbury won three straight for Curry between 2009 and 2011. Gordon's Katelyn Dyer (Plainfield, N.J.) was named Rookie of the Year, while her team was honored with the Team Sportsmanship award. Salve Regina senior Katie Kline (Brookfield, Conn.) earned the Senior Scholar-Athlete award. First-year Roger Williams head coach Jennifer Fox was voted the 2018 Coach of the Year.

Voting for the All-CCC teams and each of the major awards was conducted by the conference's nine women's lacrosse head coaches following the conclusion of the regular season.

Kline was a Salve Regina team captain and has been a solid contributor in the midfield both offensively and defensively for four years. She is majoring in Secondary Education and Mathematics and has been recognized on the CCC Academic All-Conference Team and the Salve Regina Dean's List. She was Salve Regina Scholarship recipient in 2015 and 2016 and a member of both the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society and Pi Mu Epsilon Honor Society. She serves as he secretary of the Math Club and is an ACE tutor/mentor. Kline became the 11th player in program history to top 100 career goals this season. She currently has 115 goals in 59 games played as a Seahawk.

"Katie Kline is an excellent role model for this team," said head coach Bill Villareal. "She works hard on and off the field and classroom.  She continues accomplishing so many things and I'm very proud that she is being recognized for her hard work and dedication."

Sophomore Maddie Villareal leads the Seahawks in goals scored (42) and is already just three goals away from 100 in her career. Villareal ranks eighth in total points in the CCC (55; 42g 13a).

"Maddie has worked extremely hard to improve her game and that of her teammates for the success of this team," said Villareal. "As her father and coach, I'm very proud of her accomplishments and and our team accomplishments as we support one another every time we compete."

Gabrielle Majenski made the switch from midfield to defense during the season and earned herself a spot on the Third Team All-CCC list. She collected 31 ground balls and caused 10 turnovers during the regular season.

"Majenski is a very hard working and dedicated player," said Villareal. "A converted midfielder who adapted her skill sets for the defensive position, she is a great example of someone who was committed to the needs of the team.  I'm very proud of her."

The four award winners were all named to the All-CCC First Team with Hogan selected as an attacker while, Dyer, Kline, and Stoeppel were honored as midfielders. Two Endicott attackers joined Hogan on the First Team as Alex Fitzgerald (Guilford, Conn.) and Jennifer Lacroix (Wrentham, Mass.) both earned spots. Gordon's Olivia McCarrick (Glen Burnie, Md.) and Salve Regina's Maddie Villareal (Portsmouth, R.I.) were two other attackers named to the First Team. Four defenders garnered First Team honors.
