Key Stat of the Game

Turning Point
After cutting an early 4-0 deficit down the one, the Seahawks trailed 9-5 at half-time. Kaitlin Gillespie (Haddam, Conn.) scored for Salve Regina 14 seconds into the second-half to draw the Seahawks back within three goals, but the Hawks responded with five straight to push the lead back to eight. Everding scored twice as did Warren in a 35 second span, followed by Marin Owens (Brookline, N.H.) and Everding again at 21:20 to establish a 14-6 lead. The Seahawks would not get closer than seven goals the rest of the evening.
