MIDDLETOWN, R.I. – The Salve Regina women's lacrosse team took a break from its own practice to run a youth clinic for girls in the surrounding areas of Middletown, Portsmouth and North Kingstown in grades 1-8, Sunday morning.

The Seahawks ran a clinic that featured stations helping to teach shooting, passing, and ground balls skills.

Following the clinic, head coach Jennifer Foster commented that "The clinic was a huge success. Our team really enjoyed working with these young players as they prepare for their spring season. It is always great when our team can give back to the community and show their love for the sport as well."

The Seahawks are 1-2 on the year and will host Husson on Wednesday at Gaudet Field. The opening draw is set for 4:30 p.m.
